Have you ever watched a movie and stared blankly for a while trying to figure out what you just watched? If you like those kinds of movies, then this is the perfect article for you. I have prepared a list of five movies in no particular order that will leave you satisfied and probably a little confused. Memento (8.4 IMDb) (Thriller, Mystery, Drama) Leonard (Guy Pearce) is tracking down the man who raped and murdered his wife. This becomes more complicated because he suffers from short-term memory loss. He remembers everything before the accident which caused his memory loss but after that, he cannot remember what happened fifteen minutes ago. This movie can be somewhat complicated to understand, but it's definitely worth it. The Truman Show (8.1 IMDb) (Comedy, Satire, Drama) Truman (Jim Carrey) doesn’t know, but his life is part of a massive TV set. Christof (Ed Harris) organizes “The Truman Show”, a live broadcast of Truman’s life captured by hidden cameras. He tries to control Truman’s life and goes to great lengths like removing his true love, Sylvia (Natascha McElhone), from the show and replacing her with Meryl (Laura Linney). Truman eventually discovers the truth and must decide whether to act on it. 12 Monkeys (8 IMDb) (Sci-Fi, Mystery, Thriller) As James Cole (Bruse Willis) learns, traveling back in time isn’t simple. James is recruited for a mission that will send him back to the 1990s from the 2030s, where he is imprisoned. His mission is to gather information about a plague that’s about to exterminate a big percentage of the world’s population. Unlike Jeffrey (Brad Pitt), he doesn’t get in the way of co-operation, especially not from medical gatekeepers like Dr. Kathryn Railly (Madeleine Stowe).
